Who we are
Drogheda Taxi Biggles operates a licensed taxi service in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland, and is the data controller for the information described below.
What information we collect
When you call, message or use the quote form we collect only what is needed to arrange your journey: your name, the phone number or email you contact us from, pick-up and destination addresses, date and time, passenger numbers, and any notes you add (for example a flight number or accessibility requirement).
How the quote form works
The quote form does not store your details on this website. It opens your own WhatsApp or email application with the message pre-filled, so the message is sent by you, directly to us, through that provider.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide the transport service you asked for. The lawful basis is the performance of a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into one.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. Messages you send via WhatsApp or email are processed by those providers under their own privacy terms.
Retention
Booking messages are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet any legal or tax obligations, and are then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact us to make a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
